I am a would be, wanna be, wish I was writer. Young adult, specifically.
I am a procrastinator, a nerdfighter, and a coffee addicted receptionist.
with enough time to casually sip a coffee in the coffee shop. I need a me moment before I go back to the grind.
And maybe a moment to write… CRAP! Camp nano. I’ll figure out the editing guidelines I’ll be following asap.

Cleaning, coffee, work. This is my life.
@2 weeks agoWork as a receptionist.
Weekends are awesome. I get to sit here, left alone for the most part. Writing away on my little netbook. Fleshing out my stories. The big reason my novel is finished is because my work allows me to write in the down time.
Thank you, job.
Bonus: I’m sorta getting paid while writing, which almost makes me a paid writer. Almost. If you don’t think about it to much. Or at all.

Off to watch and call it an early night. I am not likely to pass any 1k marks. I’ve written over 700 words today and had one of the worst days at work I have ever had. So I’m fine with that.
On top of that I have to be up around 7 (if not earlier) tomorrow morning. I work the night shift so that is just hell for me.
So this cinnamon bun, my cat, and I have a date with some posh grease monkeys.

I’m in my own head rationalizing why I did nothing for my novel today.
I’m still sticking with the April 21 goal. Just laziness today.
Now I’m going to scroll memebase until I fall asleep.

So many things just went wrong in an 8 minute period of time.
Remember that post about how relaxing of a day I’m gunna have?
I have my long day of work tomorrow. It’s not my longest day, it just feels like it.
And it will be the first time in a very long time. And then I will go to work. And that is all. Nothing planned after. No makeup jobs. No movie set or stage show to dash off too. Just work and lots of sleep. And then I will be ready and refreshed to write again.
As for tonight, my plan: Finish this beer.

Why do I write so much sad while at work? I’m ready to cry. Man. I don’t know if this means the writing is good or if I’m subconsciously crying at how terrible I am at this stuff.

Tomorrow I have another long day at work. Then I’m coming home and sleeping. Because I don’t think I can function enough to write until I get 15 hours of sleep.
