This was a really nice exercise. I tried to write on feel and scent. Sent is the sense I always forget, and feel could always be use more.

You should give it a try. And if you are a young adult fan you should check these guys out.

Here’s what I wrote: (Bonus, first of my writing I’ve ever shared with you guys)

I licked my teeth behind my lips. The sent of a fresh cut lawn was so thick I could taste it. It masked the salty, sweet splashes of the bay. It meant summer was coming. Everyone was getting ready for the warm sun to tan their skin. All I wanted was to bury myself back inside, with my artificial, spray-able bottles of false fresh linen and wait for the next storm to come rolling in. They could have their summer breezes combing through their hair. I wanted electricity falling from the sky.

I’d say not bad for writing it in two minutes. What do you think?
